The Kern River Valley includes the communities of Kernville, Riverkern, Wofford Heights, Lake Isabella, Bodfish, Mt. Mesa, Squirrel Valley, Southlake, Weldon, Onyx, Havilah, Canebrake, Piute Mountains, and Alta Sierra. We are a recreational area in the Sequoia National Forest and located at the southwestern end of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

Those of us who live and work here enjoy the area's environmental, cultural, and seasonal diversifications.
